Getaway
As head of copy for the hospitality company offering mindful escapes, I established the voice/tone + helm messaging across a variety of platforms (email, print, online and social), and created meaningful brand connections through compelling and strategic storytelling — from tapping into relevant tentpole moments, to crafting entirely new digital campaigns with original creative concepts.
Newsletters
Based on analytics and guest feedback, I refreshed and streamlined the design, content of pre- and post-stay transactional emails to create a delightful, cohesive customer experience. I created content for 20+ monthly newsletters — catered to audience, location, and seasonal/trending topics — and identified fresh editorial concepts to drive interest and engagement.
Creative Campaigns
I brainstormed ideas and executed concepts for a series of campaigns — from the Daylights Savings giveaway, to the $1M Labor Week effort, to Year of Rest, an initiative in partnership with author/advocate Rachel Cargle to offer nature escapes to those in the Black community fighting for change.
Partnerships
I worked with a range of key partners — including Clarks, Outdoor Voices and The Botanist — to create unique itineraries, sweepstakes and giveaways. When Walmart reached out to pursue a unique retail partnership, I worked on the branding and creative collateral for the rollout of General Stores, aimed to make nature escapes easier and more accessible.
